How payments work
Paying for a slot. When a host charges for an opportunity they choose how it’s collected: card through Joinza, where we hold the money in escrow and release it to the host once the event starts — or cash on the day, which we don’t touch and never charge a fee on.
The fee. On card payments Joinza takes 6% (4% on Joinza+). The host absorbs it, so you always pay exactly the price on the listing — no surprise booking fee at checkout. Free opportunities cost nothing either way.
Subscriptions are separate and go straight to Joinza. Cancel any time from your billing page; you keep Plus until the period you’ve paid for ends.
